In recent months, we have had two wonderful exhibits: pastels by Stephanie Vignone in December, and in January, acrylics by David Sund. We are indeed fortunate to live here in an area with so many talented artists who are willing to share their beautiful works with us!
In February we will welcome back Bob Grant, who has exhibited with us several times in the past. His show of watercolors – mostly miniatures – is titled “Let There Be Light.” His reception will be on February 14th at 3:30 pm. Please plan to attend!
In addition, we are having a very special one-day show with refreshments at 3 pm on February 27th in the Mount Tom Room. Our friend and very accomplished photographer, Paul Stevens (“Paul the Painter”) will show his black and white silver gelatin photographs and discuss the subjects and his techniques in an informal setting. Put this on your calendars now; it will be a unique opportunity for us!
We would welcome new members to the Art Committee, both from Easthampton and Northampton. See any Committee member (Marj Tauer, Diedrick Snoek, Betty Schaffer, Eleanor Herman, or Adele Dowell) if you’d like to join us or have any questions about the Committee. You don’t have to be an artist!
Adele Dowell, Chair of the Art Committee
