Welcome to Lathrop North

Lathrop Community DEIB Statement

Lathrop Community (Board, Residents and Staff) strives to be an inclusive environment that is rich with diversity and that supports aging in community. Individual differences are recognized and valued. We respect the visible and invisible qualities that make individuals who they are, and we welcome the unique experiences that every person brings. We are committed to developing an environment where all members of the Lathrop Community feel safe and have a sense of belonging.

Lathrop Community Land Acknowledgement Statement

We at Lathrop Community acknowledge that we are living on Indigenous homeland. In an effort to be historically grounded about the land on which we live, and to form collaborative relationships to build a more hopeful, sustainable future for this land, we are committed to working with other organizations to educate ourselves about the sustainable use of Lathrop’s land and about the Norwottuck Peoples, whose ancestral lands we now inhabit.

The header picture shows a few of the 50+ native plants Rowena has planted in her gardens. Many people on the North Campus have made an effort to use native plants around their townhomes.

The purpose of this site is to post relevant information in one place for easy access by residents.
